The Victorian Department of Sustainability and Environment (DSE) maintains a central store for the Victorian Governments aerial photography, satellite imagery and digital maps. The Department wanted to make it easier for the public to access these images. The Department also wanted to make sure they were able to manage and monitor who was accessing the images.

Client: The Victorian Department of Sustainability and Environment
LISAsoft’s role in the project was to:
- Supply server and storage hardware including SunFire V40z and x4200 servers, Storedge 3511 arrays, C2 tape libraries and Cisco Catalyst switches.
- Integrate the hardware into DSE data centre
- Configure the network switch, operating systems and install 3rd party applications
- Configure backup and system monitoring
Documentation and support procedures were provided to the customer and LISAsoft provided support for the platform.

This project demonstrates LISAsoft’s commitment in the following ways:
- Integrate all systems from network switches to servers and backup
- Work with 3rd party application vendors on behalf of customer
- Provide ongoing support for the entire infrastructure stack
